EGG CURRY / DIM KASHA

Dim kosha

Ingredients:

  1. Eggs – 4 no.
  2. Turmeric powder – 1 tb
  3. Bay leaf – 1 no.
  4. Panch phoron – ½ tb
  5. Onion – 1 no.
  6. Ginger paste – 1 tb
  7. Garlic paste – 1 tb
  8. Chilli powder – ½ tb
  9. Tomato – 1 no.
  10. Cumin seeds -1/2 tb
  11. Dry red chilli – 2 no.
  12. Salt

Procedure:

Hard boil eggs (4 no.) and peel the shells. Add salt and turmeric powder (1/2 tb) to the eggs and fry in oil. Keep aside the eggs.

In the same oil add bay leaf (1 no.), panch phoron (1/2 tb) and onion paste (1 no.), Fry for 2 minutes.

Next add ginger paste (1 tb), garlic paste (1 tb), red chilli powder (1/2 tb), turmeric powder (1/2 tb) and tomato paste (1 no.). Cook for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle dry roasted and grinded cumin seeds (1/2 tb) and dry red chilli (2 no.) and water (1/2 cup).

Boil it for 2 minutes and then add fried eggs. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
