Dhaniya kali mirch murg


  1. Chicken – ½ kg
  2. Black peppercorn – 20 no.
  3. Coriander seeds – 2 tb
  4. Turmeric powder – ½ tb
  5. Salt


Dry roast and crush black peppercorn (20 no.) and coriander seeds (2 tb).

Heat oil in a kadai. Add the chicken pieces (1/2 kg), turmeric powder and salt. Fry for 5 minutes.

Next add half of the crushed black peppercorn and coriander seeds and cover and cook till the chicken is done

Sprinkle rest of the crushed powder and cover and cook for 2 minutes. Switch off the flame.

Serve with Roti or rice.
