CHICKEN BANJARA

Chicken banjara

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken – ½ kg
  2. Coriander seeds – 1 tb
  3. Dry red chilli – 2 no.
  4. Onion – 2 no.
  5. Ginger paste – 1 tb
  6. Garlic paste – 1 tb
  7. Red chilli powder – 1 tb
  8. Turmeric powder – ½ tb
  9. Yogurt – 1 cup
  10. Salt

Procedure:

Dry roast and grind – Coriander seeds (1 tb), dry red chilli (2 no.).

Heat oil in a kadai. Add sliced onion (2 no.) and chicken (1/2 kg). Fry for 5 minutes.

Next add the ginger paste (1 tb), garlic paste (1 tb) and fry for 5 more minutes.

Add red chilli powder (1 tb), salt, turmeric powder (1/2 tb) and yogurt (1 cup).

Cook till the oil gets separated from the sides.

Garnish with the crushed powder and switch off the flame.

Serve with roti or rice.
