Ajwain chicken


  1. Chicken – ½ kg
  2. Carom seeds – 1 tb
  3. Hung yogurt – 1 cup
  4. Ginger – 1”
  5. Garlic – 10 cloves
  6. Dry red chilli – 2 no.
  7. Salt


Make a paste of carom seeds (1 tb), hung yogurt (1 cup), ginger (1”), garlic (10 cloves) and dry red chilli (2 no.).

Marinate chicken (1/2 kg) with the above paste.

Heat oil in a kadai. Add the marinated chicken and cover and cook till oil gets separated from the sides.

Add water (1/2 cup) and cover and cook for few more minutes.

Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
