Ingredients:
- Aamsotto – 1 cup
- Mustard oil – 2 tb
- Dry red chilli – 2 no.
- Panch phoron – 2 ½ tb
- Ginger juice – 2 tb
- Cashews – 1 tb
- Raisins – 1 tb
- Tamarind paste – 1 tb
- Sugar – 5 tb
- Salt
Procedure:
Soak chopped Aamsotto (1 cup) in a cup of water for 1 hour.
Heat a pan. Add mustard oil (2 tb) and dry red chilli (2 no.). Add panch phoron (2 tb) and soaked aamsotto and fry for 1 minute.
Add ginger juice (2 tb) and water (1 cup).
Add chopped cashews (1 tb), raisins (1 tb), salt, tamarind paste (1 tb) and sugar (5 tb).
Boil for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle dry roasted and grinded panch phoron (1/2 tb) and serve cold.
