LAHORI MURG

Lahori chicken

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken – ½ kg
  2. Onion – 1 no.
  3. Cashew paste – 50 gm
  4. Cardamom – 2 no.
  5. Cloves – 2 no.
  6. Cinnamon – 1”
  7. Ginger paste – 2 tb
  8. Garlic paster – 2 tb
  9. Red chilli powder – 2 tb
  10. Coriander powder – 1 tb
  11. Black pepper powder – 1 tb
  12. Tomato – 2 no.
  13. Salt

Procedure:

Make a paste of fried onion (1 no.) and cashew paste (50 gm).

Heat kadai. Add mustard oil (4 tb).

Add green cardamom (2 no.), cloves (2 no.), cinnamon (1”), ginger paste (2 tb), garlic paste (2 tb) and chicken (1/2 kg). Fry for 5 minutes.

Next add red chilli powder (2 tb), coriander powder (1 tb), black pepper powder (1 tb) and fry for 5 minutes.

Add tomato puree (2 no.) and fry for 5 minutes.

Add the onion paste and fry for 5 more minutes.

Add water (1/2 cup) and boil for 5 minutes.

Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
