KACHE MIRCHI KA MURG

Kache mirchi ka gosht

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken – 250 gm
  2. Capsicum – 1 no.
  3. Cumin seeds – 1 tb
  4. Green cardamom – 2 no.
  5. Cloves – 4 no.
  6. Dry red chilli – 2 no.
  7. Jaitri
  8. Onion – 2 no.
  9. Ginger paste – 1 tb
  10. Garlic paste – 1 tb
  11. Red chilli powder – ½ tb
  12. Turmeric powder – ½ tb
  13. Salt

Procedure:

Dry roast capsicum (1 no.). Cool and peel and remove the skin. Make a paste of the capsicum.

Dry roast and grind cumin seeds (1 tb).

Heat kadai. Add mustard oil (4 tb). Add green cardamom (2 no.), cloves (4 no.), dry red chilli (2 no.), a pinch of jaitri, sliced onion (2 no.). Fry till brown.

Next add ginger paste (1 tb), garlic paste (1 tb), red chilli powder (1/2 tb). Fry for 2 minutes.

Add the chicken pieces (250 gm) and turmeric powder (1/2 tb). Fry till oil gets separated from the sides. Add roasted capsicum paste, roasted cumin powder and water (1/2 cup).

Boil for 5 more minutes. Add ghee (1 tb) and switch off the flame.

Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
