GOTA MASLA MURGI

gota masla murgi

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken – ½ kg
  2. Ginger paste – 1 tb
  3. Garlic paste – 1 tb
  4. Red chilli powder – 1 tb
  5. Turmeric powder – ½ tb
  6. Cumin powder – 1 tb
  7. Coriander powder – 1 tb
  8. Green cardamom – 8 no.
  9. Cloves – 10 no.
  10. Curd – 4 tb
  11. Cinnamon – 1”
  12. Tej patta – 1 no.
  13. Tomato – 1 no.
  14. Salt

Procedure:

Marinate chicken (1/2 kg) with salt, garlic paste (1/2 tb), ginger paste (1/2 tb), red chilli powder (1 tb), turmeric powder (1/2 tb), cumin powder (1 tb), coriander powder (1 tb), crushed cardamom (8 no.), crushed cloves (10 no.), bay leaf (1 no.), mustard oil (2 tb), curd (4 tb).

Heat kadai and add mustard oil (4 tb).

Add cinnamon (1”), Tej patta (1 no.), cardamom (10 no.), garlic paste (1/2 tb) and ginger paste (1/2 tb).

Fry for 2 minutes then add the marinated chicken. Fry for 10 minutes.

Next add tomato paste (1 no.) and fry for 5 minutes.

Add water (1 cup) and boil for 5 more minutes.

Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
