PALAK PANEER

Ingredients:

  1. Paneer – 200 gm
  2. Green chillies – 2 no.
  3. Onion paste – 1 no.
  4. Ginger paste – 1 tb
  5. Garlic paster – ½ tb
  6. Turmeric powder – ½ tb
  7. Coriander powder – ½ tb
  8. Cumin powder – ½ tb
  9. Amchoor powder – ½ tb
  10. Garam masala – ¼ tb
  11. Kasuri methi – ½ tb
  12. Curd – 2 tb
  13. Spinach leaves – 1 bunch
  14. Milk – ½ cup
  15. Sugar
  16. Ghee – 2 tb
  17. Cumin seeds – ½ tb
  18. Salt

Procedure:

1. Blanch Palak leaves with soda (pinch) and grind with green chillies (2).

2. Heat Kadai and oil (2 tb).

3. Next add onion paste (1 no.), ginger paste (1 tb), garlic paste (1/2 tb), turmeric powder (1/2 tb), coriander powder (1/2 tb), cumin powder (1/2 tb) and Amchoor powder (1/2 tb).

4. Add Garam Masala (1/4 tb) and kasuri Methi (1/2 tb). Next add curd (2 tb) and the palak leaves paste. Fry for few minutes.

5. Add Paneer cubes (200 gm) and milk (1/2 cup). Add a pinch of sugar and cook for few more minutes.

6. For Tadka in a small pan add Ghee (2 tb) and cumin seeds (1/2 tb). Let the cumin seeds crackle and pour over the gravy. Serve with chapatti.
