CHICKEN ROGAN JOSH

Chicken roganjosh

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken – ½ kg
  2. Hing – a pinch
  3. Cinnamon – 1”
  4. Cloves – 2 no.
  5. Black peppercorn – 4 no.
  6. Green cardamom – 2 no.
  7. Black Cardamom – 1 no.
  8. Curd – 2 tb
  9. Salt

Procedure:
1. Heat oil in Kadai.

  1. Add a pinch of Hing. Next add cinnamon (1”), cloves (2), black pepper (4), green cardamom (2), black cardamom (1).
  2. Now add chicken (1/2 kg) and fry for 5 minutes on low flame.
  3. Next add red chilli powder (1 tb), black pepper powder (1 tb), fennel powder (2 tb), dry ginger powder (1 tb), coriander powder (1 tb) and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Now add slowly curd (2 tb) and salt and fry till the oil come out from sides.
  5. Switch off the flame and serve with Rice or Chapati.
