CHICKEN BANJARA

Chicken banjara

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken – ½ kg
  2. Tej patta – 2 no.
  3. Cardamom – 2 no.
  4. Onion – 1
  5. Ginger paste – 1 tb
  6. Garlic paste – 1 tb
  7. Curd – 2 tb
  8. Red Chilli powder – 1 tb
  9. Tomato – 1 no.
  10. Coriander powder – 1/2 tb
  11. Cumin powder – ½ tb
  12. Kaju paste – 2 tb
  13. Garam masal – ½ tb
  14. Kasuri methi – 1 tb
  15. Salt

Procedure:

  1. Marinate chicken (1/2 kg) with turmeric and salt.
  2. Heat oil. Next add Tej patta (2), Ellaichi (2), Cloves(2) and sliced onion (1).
  3. Fry for 2 minutes and add marinated chicken with ginger paste (1 tb), garlic paste (1 tb), red chilli powder (1 tb).
  4. Next add tomato paste (1), coriander powder (1/2 tb), cumin powder (1/2 tb) and fry for 5 minutes.
  5. Add Kaju paste (2 tb) and Garam Masala (1/2 tb).
  6. Next add half cup water and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Add kasuri Methi (1 tb) and butter before switching off the plane.
  8. Serve with Rice or Chapati.
